Memory Wall

How badly you want to keep them all, with every dog there will come a time to say goodbye. Whether the dog died or moved away from our kennel, we will always remember our four-legged hardworking friends.

Barney

Born: 2011
Male

This cuddly bear could sometimes act like a ‘big guy’ among other males, but he had a special bond with his nephew Kuosko. He was very cuddly with humans and all the kids that visited our kennel. Barney died in the summer of 2022.

Bilbo

Born: 2011
Male

Because of his wrists problem Bilbo cannot run tours anymore. We are happy to announce that he has found a loving home.

Bonni

Born: 2011
Female

Although Bonni is still a good sleddog, she has find herself a nice early retirement home with one of our former guides in France. There she can roam freely and enjoy the days with Oboy, also a former sleddog from our kennel. We are happy she has found such a nice home.

Boris

Born: 2011
Male

Probably the noiciest of that whole litter! He constantly wants to be with people and really loves his cuddles, but standing still and not doing anything, seems to be an impossible task for him. Brother of Barney, Bilbo, Bronco, Becky, Bonni and Borka. In the spring of 2022 Boris was reunited with his brother Bilbo and enjoying the retirement life at a very nice place not too far away from the kennel.

Camo

Born: 2011
Male

He was always looking which way the wind blows first, but when you conquered his heart he was a big teddy bear. In the freerun he prefered to be on his own. He was a very nice and reliable leader. Camo died in the spring of 2022.

Cella

Born: 2011
Female

She was the calmer and most social one of all the siblings. Sometimes it looked like she has lost herself in a daydream. She was a hard working girl with leader capacity, if her hunting instinct didn´t take over. She loved to bring all kind of strange objects as treasures to her doghouse. Cella died in the beginning of 2022.

Eric

Born: 2008
Male

He was one of the biggest teddybears in the yard and the favourite guy of young girls Mimi and Mila. He was one of the biggest excapers from his kennel and always liked to test and fool all new people on the yard. He could be quite annoying sometimes, but everyone got to like him for his Chewbacca-howl. Eric died at the age of 13, almost 14 years old.

Jamey

Born: 2008
Male

In the beginning of June 2021 we had to take the decision to take Jamey to the other side. His condition was getting worse quickly and he coudn’t enjoy his life anymore. Resulting in staying in his doghouse the whole day. Jamey never has been the most approachable dog, but he was a strong and determined sleddog and really nice to the other dogs. And for that we are really proud of him.

Jenny

Born: 2008
Female

As all the females in her litter she was a very hard working dog, sweet and submissive little female, but with the sound of a guarding dog. She was suffering from a tumor, but able to do what she liked doing best, running in front of the sledge, until the very end. Jenny died in the autumn of 2021.

Lea

Born: 2008
Female

Lea wass a small, cute and hard working female. She went rather unnoticed, as she has always just been doing her job, never causing any problems. During freerun time she was mainly busy all by herself, not interacting very much with other dogs. She though liked to escape! Lea died in the beginning of 2022 at a repectable age of almost 14 years old.

Loomis

Born: 2019
Male

Sometimes a dog just leaves too soon. Unfortunately Loomis’ time was not long here, but he will leave a remarkable impression of a hardworking dog, with a supercute appearance and always besides his brother Lui. Loomis died in the winter of 2021.

Minna

Born: 2008
Female

Minna has been Jan´s main leader all her working life. She has been living a good retirement time at Jan and Daniela’s private property. Unfortunately she was suffering from a broken disc in her back giving her a lot of pain. Leaving us nothing else but releasing her from this suffering in the summer of 2021.

Refat

Born: 2006
Male

With fifteen years old one of the oldest dogs we ever had in the yard. He transformed from a restless hardworking sleddog to a calm and cuddly petdog, the day he moved into our coffee room. Refat died in the autumn of 2021 at a very respectable age.

Ronja

Born: 2007
Female

A charming and good natured female, always avoiding conflicts with dogs and people. She has always been running in lead together with Minna, but with less stubborn behaviour. She is the mother of Carlos, Camo, Cella, Caius, Cindy, Clara and Cisko, a whole litter with leaders. Ronja died in the spring of 2022.

Örjan

Born: 2007
Male

Örjan died in 2021 at the very respectable age of 13, almost 14, and he was the last remaining dog of his litter. Last autumn in training he decided it has been enough and he has spent his last months as a very good example for our puppy Nacho, a nice company to the other dogs in the free run and a friendly cuddler to everyone that visited our kennel.
